About RetirementGuard
RetirementGuard specializes in the design, communication, and on-going administration of long-term care insurance employee benefit programs. In addition, we frequently assist individual clients on a referral basis. The primary role of long-term care insurance is to protect assets from being depleted by a disability. Disability in this context refers to a chronic condition that makes it impossible to be independent. While we typically think of this type of care as a ‘senior’ problem, 40% of long-term care services are provided to individuals under age 65.
Our mission is to enhance quality of life and peace of mind by developing insurance strategies that can protect assets from the potentially devastating costs associated with long-term care. We believe our client’s interests always come first. If we are diligent in serving our client’s needs – our success will follow. We take pride in the professional quality of our advice and work. RetirementGuard can act in either an insurance brokerage or consulting capacity.
Principals
Sandy Dennis is a co-founder of RetirementGuard. Sandy has significant management and technical experience in the banking and health care delivery fields, and is responsible for all facets of operations at RetirementGuard. Sandy spends her free time bicycling and enjoying the outdoors in rural Connecticut.
Craig Davis is a co-founder of RetirementGuard and has been active in the design of long-term care insurance benefit programs for the past eighteen years. He feels passionately about the impending long-term care crisis, and has had first hand family experience with the long-term care continuum. Craig has advised some of the most prestigious employers in the United States on long-term care insurance benefit issues, and has been published in Best Review and Benefits Quarterly.
